SAFENAV PROJECT PROGRESS – MAY 2024

In May, the SafeNav Project team advanced their key deliverables and maintained momentum through regular technical calls. Some team members prepared to represent the project at the 34th International Ocean and Polar Engineering Conference (ISOPE 2024) in Rhodes, Greece next month.

This three-year maritime initiative aims to develop a cutting-edge Collision Prevention Solution, significantly reducing the risk of collisions and groundings. The project promises enhanced navigation safety for both existing and future vessels, paving the way for remote and autonomous operations. The team's efforts mark a pivotal step towards safer seas.
