With the fourth month well underway, the SafeNav (Safer Navigation) Project team will realize the first milestone with the successful submission of the project’s first deliverable, User and technical requirements specifications (D2.1), at the month’s end. End-users and technical experts have been working in deep collaboration to ensure the timely submission of the final specification document.
Additionally, as part of the Dissemination, Communication, and Business Development work package, the Web Page Creation and Social Media Setup (T10.1) task will be completed by the end of the month. This task includes the setup of the SafeNav webpage and dedicated social media accounts on LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube.
The ambition of the three-year maritime project is to develop and test a highly innovative collision prevention solution that will significantly reduce the probability of collisions and groundings, thereby enhancing safer navigation at sea for an existing and new generation of vessels that aim to go remotely operated or autonomous in the future.
