The SafeNav 4th General Assembly commenced on Tuesday 12th March with a warm welcome from Project Coordinator Jacek Gruszka of Offshore Monitoring Limited (OSM), in Ghent, Belgium. David Van Hamme, representing host partner IMEC, then provided a concise introduction, paving the way for the session's agenda.
The day saw a series of informative presentations, starting with Ladar Ltd.’s CEO, Jorgen Grindevoll, reviewing the SafeNav Project and refocusing its goals. Subsequently, the OSM team presented a comprehensive overview of project development, followed by detailed discussions on Work Packages 1-7, led by respective Work Package and Task leaders. These presentations spurred engaging conversations on project work packages, technical specifications, and highlighted key deliverables.
The assembly reconvened on Wednesday 13th March for the second and final day of project-related presentations and discussions. Project partners discussed progress made since the previous assembly and participated in robust discussions on technical specifications and key deliverables. Jacek Gruszka expressed gratitude to all participants for their unwavering commitment and contributions helping to drive the project forward.
