Project Partner Sirehna hosted the Safer Navigation (SafeNav) Project 3rd General Assembly in Nantes, France, from the 27th - 28th September 2023. This meeting led to discussions about the project’s work packages, technical specifications and special sessions for detailed presentations on the key deliverables.
The Project Coordinator’s introduction was followed by a brief welcome by Sirehna, the host organization, for the participants. The Offshore Monitoring Limited (OSM) team kicked off the day with a Project Development overview, followed by detailed presentations on Work Packages 1 -7. Every presentation began with a status update from the Work Package leaders, followed by presentations outlining the current progress of tasks by the respective Task leaders.
Work Package and Task leaders resumed their presentations on the second day. The final session showcased progress on tasks and deliverables since the previous assembly in March, concluding the two-day event. Project Coordinator Jacek Gruszka (OSM) expressed gratitude to all the project partners for their diligent efforts in preparing for and participating in the 3rd General Assembly.
